Macquarie Park Cemetery Ascension Hill

Devcon partnered once again with Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium to expand the site, delivering over 170 new burial plots ahead of schedule — all with sensitivity to the surrounding environment.

The project included 2,200 new burial internments, 800 piles, integration with existing infrastructure, relocation of a retaining wall, and landscaping — alongside a Design & Construct irrigation system connected to the cemetery’s existing infrastructure. Throughout, we ensured ongoing cemetery operations continued undisturbed.

By prioritizing careful planning and open communication with cemetery staff, we successfully delivered the project ahead of schedule while respecting the site’s sensitive nature.

Sustainability remained a key focus, with recycled materials used wherever possible to minimize waste and repurpose resources on-site.
