Blacktown International Sports Park, Shared Path

The team at Devcon completed stage 1 of the shared user path which connects the bustling Blacktown International Sports Park to the M7. Not only will this improve commuter access but it will improve safety.

The Blacktown City Council required fast project management and mobilisation due to tight funding deadlines. Our team managed to artfully expedite the works and effectively manage a mix of stakeholders including coordination of the university access point.

We thrive on challenges and this project not only required unexpected asbestos management and tight timeline constraints but also environmental management due to working in close proximity to Angus Creek. This particular location also put our team adjacent to an Aboriginal heritage area which required full separation from our works along with team briefing to ensure awareness.

Delivery of this steel reinforced concrete path designed to meet full council standards was delivered on time and on budget.
