171 lot residential subdivision, Austral

Devcon recently completed the civil construction works for a major residential subdivision, transforming a greenfield site into a thriving new community that will provide 171 residential lots for future homeowners.

From the earliest stages of earthworks through to the final landscaping touches, our team delivered all aspects of the civil infrastructure required to bring the development to life.

Beneath the surface, more than 2.2 kilometres of stormwater drainage, reinforced culvert systems designed to effectively manage stormwater, and a network of essential services—including electricity, NBN, water and sewer—were installed to support the growing community. While future residents may never see them, some of the subdivision’s largest culvert structures lie hidden beneath the roads, quietly performing the critical task of managing stormwater.

Above ground, extensive bulk earthworks reshaped the site and created the foundations for the future neighbourhood. The project also included the construction of roads, kerb and gutter, footpaths and cycleways, creating safe and accessible connections throughout the estate.

As construction progressed, the site evolved from a blank canvas into a well-connected residential precinct. Recent additions to Liverpool City’s streetscape requirements saw trees planted in the streets throughout the development. While small today, these trees will grow alongside the community, providing shade, character and a greener environment for future generations.

Final landscaping works, including turfing, tree planting, signage and line marking, helped complete the transformation and create an inviting environment for future residents.

Devcon is proud to have delivered this new community, creating the foundations for families to build their future.
