Cranebrook Roundabout Construction

Devcon was entrusted with constructing a new roundabout for Penrith Council and Transport for NSW at the corner of Andrews Road and Laycock Street, Cranebrook; one of the busiest corners in the area. Thousands of vehicles travel through the intersection each day which required the careful planning of Devcon to complete the works effectively.

To make things even more demanding, the project schedule was shortened to be completed before Christmas 2024, a challenge Devcon was ready to tackle head-on.

Works included:

• effectively manage traffic flow to ensure the safety of workers and road users
• night work to minimise disruptions for road users
• working around live services
• installation of drainage, roundabout and footpath
• asphalt resurfacing in and around the work zone
• line marking and turf

On Completion of the job, Devcon successfully provided council and the community with new roundabout which greatly improved safety for the daily commuters of Andrew Road and Laycock Street, Cranebrook.
