Devcon was engaged by InvoCare to construct a new internal road at Castlebrook Memorial Park, delivering the civil infrastructure required to provide a safe, functional and fully operational connection with the memorial park.
A key component of the project was the construction of an on-site stormwater detention system, incoporating treatment devices to manage and treat stormwater, along with the associated drainage infrastructure.
The project included the construction of the new road, kerbing, pavement and associated civil works, together with landscaping, including 32 new trees, helping to intergrate the new works into the surrounding memorial park and enhance the site environment.
The works were delivered within an operational memorial park, requiring careful cooridination around funeral services and maintaining access throughout construction. Through staged works and close coordination with InvoCare, Devcon successfully delivered the project while minimising disruption to park operations.
