Macarthur Gardens South, Hub Park

Devcon was engaged by Stockland to transform a section of Barber Reserve into a welcoming public park space, marking the final phase of the Macarthur Gardens development. The scope of work covered site clearing, earthworks, installation of playground infrastructure, and comprehensive landscaping throughout the park and play areas.

This project required a high level of planning and collaboration to deliver a complex restoration outcome with minimal impact on the surrounding environment and neighbouring properties. Structural, geotechnical and environmental engineers worked closely to carry out works in close proximity to a live roadway and over live services. Through careful coordination and disciplined execution, public safety was maintained at all times, sensitive areas were protected, and the site was successfully restored.

The finished park is a valuable new asset for the community, and we’re proud to have created a space that will be enjoyed well into the future.
