Claymore 86 Lot subdivision

A part of the Claymore Renewal Project, Claymore Stage 5 completion is the next successful step in the long-term rejuvenation of the Claymore public housing area’s transformation into a thriving master-planned community. Through the award of this brownfield project Landcom appointed our team with the creation of 86 new lots for the community of Claymore. Devcon were able to effectively navigate the inherent challenges that come with developing a brownfield area and deliver a subdivision quicker than client expectations.

Works included:
• Site preparation works including selective tree clearing, pavement removal, locating and re-routing of existing civil infrastructure and utilities
• Bulk and detailed earth works
• 1.7 KMs of drainage installed
• Construction of roads
• Kerb & gutter construction
• Over 900m of retaining walls installed
• Construction of a temporary detention basin
• Installation of services (electricity, NBN, water and sewer)
• Construction of 1.6 KMs of footpath 
• Landscaping works
